Ok, Ok. So it sounds way more interesting than I'm sure the post is. But for the first time ever I got pulled over and DID NOT get a ticket! That never happens! Therefore, I found the story blogable.
So here is the dealy. The cops lights go on- I am not speeding so I really, truely have no idea why he pulled me over. But he didnt make me guess so that was good.
the convo:
Cop: I pulled you over because you didn't use you turn signal
me: where?
Cop: when you were stopped at the light in the turn lane turning onto _____ street.
Me: wait so I need to have my turn signal on in a turn only lane? I thought it was just a given.
Cop: I'm just trying to make the roads safe...
I could role play you all night but to sum it up He asked where I was going, I had my school shirt on and told him I was heading home from school. (I think He thought more of me then, like He stopped judging me if you know what I mean) but ya, He asked for my license and registration ect. Peeked at it and sent me on my way!!!
How cool is that!!!
Oh, and make sure you use your turn signal when your in a turn only lane... because apparently someone might not understand that your turning?

Preschool zoo fieldtrip
The kids went to the zoo field trip today! It was fun. Dustin came also. The girls and I were very glad to have him there with us. They did a little scavenger hunt to find certain animals and got stickers when they found them. Not all the preschool kids were able to come. But we did get some siblings to join us.

Mommys turn teaching preschool.
So today was my first turn teaching preschool! It was lots of fun! We did T for turtle sheets, gummy bear color sorting, read books about animals, colored squares, 2 cars, they made hand print elephants and got to take home zoo books to color! Afterwards some of the kids stayed after to play in the backyard. We were missing a couple kids today. I think it went really well! Thursday is field trip day to the zoo! (Animal theme this month)
Here they are gummy bear color sorting

matching sisters! & Speech update
What is one of my favorite things about having 2 little girls? Matching outfits!!! My grandma (the girls great grandma) got them the cutest little matching outfits.
Mikelle crawling over her sister to see what she is doing
How is preschool going? pretty good! The moms that have had their turns have been great! Kirsten likes to run around saying k-k-k-k (k sound) so that is good!
Kirsten speech update: we went to the doc wednesday and Kirsten has water in her ears. The fluid is behind the drum next to the receptors blocking her hearing. making what she heard sound like it is under water. That's why her pronunciation is off and she mumbles a lot. They are going to give her some meds to try for a month. If it doesnt get better she may need tubes :( but at least we have a direction to go.
She is still in speech therapy in case you were wondering, but its moved to bi-weekly.
Pizza!
Kirsten got to help us make pizza Wednesday night! I thought it was lots of fun. She did too :) Dustin... not so much. I have learned he doesn't handle the mess well haha. We will have to do more of these messy activities before daddy gets home.. at least the ones with tomato sauce.
