My sweetest treasures

 Today was a sad day. There was a big shooting involving an entire Kindergarten class. It breaks my heart. But Today I chose to spend time making memories with my sweet babies. Im thankful for them every day. Even when they drive me insane. They are the best blessings I could have ever received and I couldnt have picked to better little girls for me to love, and drive me bonkers.

As you can see she is the character of the family. Always so funny. She is hilarious. So sweet and crazy smart! Did I mention she is rocking at potty training! Here is my hoot Mikelle.

My mini me.  I got some picks of Kirsten after she got back from preschool. Such a pretty little girl and she gives the best hugs and kisses! She is really smart too and is always one step ahead of me, she keeps me on my toes.

The girls and I had fun tonight and built a fort after dinner. They had a blast! Although I think towards the end they were having more fun knocking it down and watching me put it back together.

These girls are my sweetest treasures and I am so grateful to be able to feel the true spirit of Christmas, Its not about Santa Clause and nice gifts or stupid trees (notice how ours isn't up yet lol) Its about Christ and spending time with your loved ones and being grateful for what you have that money cannot buy. Life is a precious gift and I am thankful for my family, all of my family. 

Mikelles potty training!!!

Mikelle is officially potty trainging! She is doing pretty decent! we started her mid day Saturday. Went and picked out her new very own panties (which we had to write "M" on the inside since she wears same size as Kirsten) and for some reason little panties look so cute on little babies! She is only 22 months therefore she has not hit the toddler stage yet ;) 

Today she only had 2 uh ohs! Yeah Mikelle! 

She loves to watch movies on the potty while big sister Kirsten is at preschool

Soon we will be all out of diapers in this house!!!

Mikelle has a big girl bed!!!

Mikelle is growing up so fast! She is 22 months old now!!! Crazy huh!!! Almost 2! She crawls out of her bed all the time and refuses to nap anyways so we decided it was time for a big girl bed! 

I knew a general style that I wanted for her room then waited till I found it available on craigslist.I love that site!

 Grandma was in town and she wanted to take the girls out to pick their own bedding.(Kirsten never got a bed set when she switched to a big girl bed) Mikelle picked out the horsey bedding which I don't think it could have been more perfect for her. The night before I was telling my mom that Mikelle loved horseys and we should make her room into a cowgirl room then we found the perfect matching horsey bedding! I love it when that happens!

Halloween happenings

Sorry for the disappearance. My laptop hasn't been working and my husbands computer doesn't upload photos. Luckily my husband figured out how to fix it

First day of school!!!

Kirsten had her First day of school on Tuesday! It was both exciting and sad. I keep thinking how is she growing up so fast? 

Daddy had the day off and was able to come to drop her off at her first day of school. He was also able to give her a blessing for the school year. I'm so grateful for that opportunity. 

Kirsten was such a trooper. She never cried and happily went to her classroom.She even got to hold hands with a cute little boy in her class as they walked to the classroom. I fought the urge to take a photo lol

Mikelle was excited for Kirsten to go to preschool too, she ran straight to her chair at the table then stole her spot on the couch. If were not careful she might try to take Kirsten's room!

 

Dont worry to much, when we went to pick up Kirsten Mikelle ran to her and gave her a big hug when Kirsten started walking out! Sooo sweet!

I also may or may not have taken Pictures of Kirsten's second day of preschool. But in my defense Kirsten is technically in 2 classes. She gets to go to both the Mon&Tues class as well as a Thurs&Fri class. So not all of her classmates are the same:)
