Mikelles first haircut!

Being the soon to be hairstylist I am, I cut Mikelles hair a few days ago. On the same day she standed. I figured I could make it a day of firsts or that cutting off her rat tail/mullet could be her reward for standing... either way.

Before
After
Ya I keep their first lock of hairWhat a cute baby!

Mikelle stands!

Mikelle started standing about a week ago! (the 23rd) The same day she started sitting! Can you believe this kid! She is still 6 months old!!! so in month six she learned how to crawl correctly (she was army crawling and very moble still @ 5 months but lacked coordination), sit, and pull herself to a stand while climbing on objects, toys, ect. What a motivated baby!

I figured you wouldnt believe me... so I took pictures. Just a few ;)

She can stand for a long time. Pretty much up until Kirsten pushes her over. She can even go one handed! I'm sure I'm in for a world of trouble here soon.

Oregon part 6 Bowling & chucky cheese

We took Kirsten bowling. She loves to bowl and she is pretty decent at it with bumpers. This was the first time she ever used a big "put your ball on and push it down the lane" tool.
Mikelle didnt get to bowl. But she was cool just hanging out Kirsten and DaddyBowling is always super fun!

We went to chucky cheeses too! And the pretend band is still just as weird and freaky as it was when I was a kid! lol
Kirsten had fun playing all the games
Mikelle got to play some games too!
Vroom Vroom!
My cute HusbandAnd this is how Kirsten spent the majority of our vacation... In my moms arms. This is the last part to the Oregon posts. We had a good vacation. We got to go and do lots of fun things and see many people. It was very nice to be able to and stay for longer than 2-3 days. Missing people already!

Oregon part 5 beach

We went to the beach while we were in. Kurt (my moms husband) was at the beach fishing/camping so we went up to say hi and play at the beach.

Mikelle got some cool new sunglassesOh ya, she's cool
Here are my girls with my mom.
Did I mention Mikelle tries to grab anything she can get her hands on? ya.
" Dada gimme some soda!"Here are some photos of us on the beach playing
Mikelle liked to jump and dance in the sand. It was pretty cute!
Daddy walking Kirsten around.
Grandma and Mikelle
I love this picture of my mom and Kirsten! SO SWEET!
Mommy and MikelleKirsten getting warm and playing in the sand
Everybody that wentRandom fun story:
We didnt bring jackets thinking it was going to be warmer. (I grew up here I should have known) Kurt had a sweater that was purple (he claims it faded into purple... sure) and Dustin got the privilege of wearing it. What was even better was the fact that it had a picture of a "Rainbow" trout on it ;)
Here is Dustin showing off the sweater.
Over all, we all had a "gay ol time" especially Dustin haha

Oregon part 4 OMSI

We went to Omsi. Its a museum for children.
They had a big shopping center thing. playing with the light board
They liked the big foam blocks
They also had a cool exhibit thing that was called game 2.0. Pretty much every game that ever existed old and new was at the exhibit. AND you could play them all! thats right Mario brothers, pac man, gameboys, wii, rockband, really old ones i have never heard of.

Kirsten LOVED the race car ones. It was pretty funny. Mikelle and I were a team and Kirsten and my mom were team. Mikelle was in the front pack so when I sat down she got excited her feet could touch and she would head but me in the chin. While Kirsten "helped" my mom drive. She would get mad cuz my mom wouldnt let her steer alone and would try to pry her fingers off the wheel. It pretty much turned into racing bumper cars.

Later Mikelle decided she liked the tunnel too.
And Kirsten vegged out on the couch watching baby Einstein with grandma

oregon part 3 Darly

We got to hang out with Darly, one of my best friends since 6th grade.

We went to sushi-ville (the best food place on the entire plannet!) Kirsten liked sushi! That's my girl!!! she is so excited for sushi! She really liked the chop sticks too.

Awe!Then Darly and Kirsten played an interesting soccer-ish game. Kirsten would grab the ball and run over to the edge of the grass and throw it into the barkdust while Darly played goalie... Kirsten was pretty good. we may have a lil athlete on our hands

I love it! We had lots of fun!
