Kirsten and I have a morning routine. She wakes up, comes into the room I sleep in and looks at me. I usually respond with an EHHH. Kirsten then goes to find and bring me lots of treasures.
Usually these treasures consist of my contact case, a hair brush, anything on a counter within her reach, or from a favorite bathroom drawer. This morning Kirsten woke up extra early. Dustin gave her a cup of water and put her back to bed as he left for work.
Kirsten re-awoke at her normal time and continued on her random routine of bringing me treasures she finds while I slowly try to wake up. I bet you will never guess what treasure Kirsten brought me today!... Her water cup! Complete with water. Basically she straight up poured water on me this morning. I guess that's one way to wake Mommy up.
Luckily there was some water left in the cup. So I tossed the left over water back at Kirsten. She looked at me for a good 20 seconds standing in shock until she decided to cry.
